Benji is a partner at Paper Street Films. Currently, he is producing THE RUNNER, written/directed by Austin Stark, starring Nicolas Cage, Sarah Paulson, Connie Nielsen, and Peter Fonda. This past year, Benji also produced Maya Forbes’ INFINITELY POLAR BEAR, starring Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana, executive produced by J.J. Abrams. INFINITELY POLAR BEAR premiered in Dramatic Competition at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and is set to be released by Sony Pictures Classics in May 2015.

(starring Michael Shannon, Willem Dafoe, and Chloe Sevigny); Alex Cox’s REPO CHICK (starring Jaclyn Jonet and Rosanna Arquette); 2009 Sundance Film Festival darling PETER AND VANDY (directed by Jay DiPietro, starring Jason Ritter and Jess Weixler); and Paramount Pictures’ HOMECOMING (directed by Morgan J. Freeman, starring Mischa Barton).
Before joining Paper Street, Benji spent six years working in the world of international high finance for Bear Stearns. While at Bear, he worked in a strategic proprietary group that invested capital into emerging markets using equities, futures, currencies, and options. Familiar with the hedge fund mold, he has extensive experience leveraging capital and managing risk to maximize return for shareholders. From 2003 to 2007, Benji developed an extremely successful track record for investors, averaging an astounding 35% or better annual return on investment.
Benji graduated from Tulane University and currently lives in New York City.
